28th Trading Week (08th – 12th) of July, 2024 trade journal)

My reason for sharing my trade journal is to encourage traders to also keep one for two major reasons:

1. Track your weekly trading performance.
2. Build a better psychology, which will sharpen your trading intuition

Both can only be done when you keep a comprehensive journal, and review it every week.

MONDAY 08/07/2024

USD/CAD (3.42am)

Analysis: My reason for buying can be seen on our weekly market analysis

CAD/JPY (2.06pm)

Analysis: A strong bearish outlook on the larger timeframe encouraged a sell

WEDNESDAY 10/07/2024

GBP/JPY (9.23 am)

Analysis: Break of structure and a bullish bias on the higher time frame prompted this but

Manually closed with +18 pips

THURSDAY 11/07/2024

USD/CAD Update (11.50am)

I bought USDCAD on Monday and decided to close it today due to red folder news event (breakeven)

FRIDAY 12/07/2024

AUD/USD (1.06am)

Analysis: My bullish bias and a break of structure on the 15 mins timeframe encouraged a buy

AUD/USD Update (2am)

Manually Closed -12 pips

AUD/USD re-entry (7.11 am)

Analysis: Higher highs formed encouraged another bullish entry

AUD/USD Update (12.04 pm)

Manually Closed +2 pips

Trade activity summary for the week

In Conclusion:

This week could have easily been one of those weeks without a single loss, but I messed it up by taking the AUD/USD trade that had a lot of fishbones on the lower time frame.

Other than that, my execution was flawless and I love the way I traded this week. I was off the charts for the most part, yet I closed the week in profits

I closed the week with +0.7% profits. Looking forward to a better week
