3rd Trading Week (15th – 19th of January, 2024 trade journal)

My reason for sharing my trade journal is to encourage traders to also keep one for two major reasons:

  1. Track your weekly trading performance.
  2. Build a better psychology, which will sharpen your trading intuition

Both can only be done when you keep a comprehensive journal, and review it every week.

In conclusion:

It was an interesting week in the market. Knowing that Gold was my weakness last year, I decided to take my first trade on Gold this week (on just one of my trading accounts), and I got burned.

I lost -1.3% on my Gold account, and on my other accounts, I closed the week with +0.2% profits. Gold is off my dashboard once more (lol)

Other than the gold trade I took, I am pleased with my trade executions this week. I am looking forward to better trading conditions next week
