23rd trading week (1st – 9th of June, 2023 trade journal)

My reason for keeping a journal is to encourage traders to also keep one for two major reasons:

  1. Track weekly trading performance.
  2. have enough data, in order to be able to work on their trading technique and psychology

Both can only be done when you keep a comprehensive journal, and review it every week.

TUESDAY (06/06/2023)

WEDNESDAY (07/06/2023)

CAD/JPY Update (5 am)

Analysis: Locked +17 pips at the close of the London session on Tuesday, and woke up Wednesday to see that price cleared my adjusted SL.. I may re-enter this setup if bullish opportunity present itself.

GBP/CHF Update (3 pm)

Analysis: Price hit trailings SL and closed with +14 pips

AUD/JPY (2.05PM)

AUD/JPY Update (5.30 PM)

Analysis: Closed the trade manually with +42 pips. This was after waiting for a lil over 48 hours

In conclusion

We are up by +1.2% in the first week of the new month. I had just one bad trade, and it could have been a positive trade if I had not closed it manually (but that’s what happens when you stick to your trading rules. Sometimes you lose trades)

So far I can’t complain in the new week/month. Hopefully we are able to maintain this momentum till the end of the year
